We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Manager in Douglas
Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, developing the team and ensuring the store operates to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their retail career.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
Lead, motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
Drive sales and support the achievement of store KPIs and targets.
Lead by example on the shop floor, providing an outstanding customer experience.
Assist with stock management, merchandising and visual presentation.
Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
Help prepare staff rotas and manage daily operational tasks.
Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
Ensure company policies, procedures and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
About You
Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Senior Sales Assistant within a retail environment.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Commercial awareness and the ability to drive sales.
Positive, proactive and hands-on approach.
Flexible to work a retail rota, including weekends.
