Location: Sandymount, Dublin 4
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: €38,500
Fx2 Recruitment is recruiting an experienced, motivated Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at an established store in Sandymount, Dublin 4.

The successful candidate will be a commercially focused, hands-on leader with excellent people management skills, strong retail experience and a genuine interest in gardening.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service and operational standards.
Drive sales performance, achieve agreed financial targets and maximise profitability.
Lead, motivate, train and develop a team of employees and volunteers.
Create a positive, supportive and inclusive working environment that encourages teamwork and engagement.
Deliver excellent customer service, providing advice and guidance on products where required.
Monitor sales performance, identify commercial opportunities and implement initiatives to increase revenue.
Oversee stock management, product presentation and general standards.
Manage daily administration, financial procedures and reporting in line with company policies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and operational procedures.
Work towards agreed business plans and objectives, contributing to the ongoing success of the store
Essential Requirements
Previous retail management experience.
Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
Experience managing budgets and financial performance.
A genuine interest in gardening and garden-related products.
Strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach to daily operations.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in a similar retail management role.
Experience managing stock and inventory procedures.
Strong customer-facing experience.
Experience supporting, training or supervising teams.
