Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Drogheda, Co. Louth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of the store's operations, including but not limited to customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff management. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing the store's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in training and developing staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor staff performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve performance and productivity.
- Assist in creating and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the overall success of the store by achieving sales targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, and sales strategies.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required.
